How to reach us:

By Air: Nearest Airport is in Chennai (Madras). The Anna International & Kamaraj Domestic Airports. Airport code is MAA. It is about 150kms away and is 2.5 hours by car. (Pondicherry has been promising for the past 20 years to have a fully functional airport. Currently the one that exists is used by a flight training school. If you want to Charter an Aircraft, you can make it land in Pondicherry and then the drive to the Guesthouse is about 20 mins)

By Rail: Pondicherry has a Railway Station which is about 1.5 kms away. Daily Trains to Chennai and once a week train to Bangalore. Shuttle Train Service to Villupuram Junction from where one can catch trains to many other destinations across India including Kerala and Calcutta.

By Bus: The most frequently used means of transport to get to Pondicherry. Pondicherry has a bustling Bus Stand with good Bus Services to most major towns in South India. Buses to Chennai could be running every 30 minutes. There may be about a dozen bus services a day to Bangalore. Buses also run to Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Cochin, Calicut and Trivandrum all major airport-towns of South India. The Bus network can take you to any corner of South India.

By Car: Experiencing Indian Roads by Car is an experience that has been talked about, read and discussed so much. You can Hire a Car at Chennai Airport or in the Town, or in any town you may be in, and ask the driver to drive you to Pondicherry. We are about 45 kms away from National Highway 45 also known as the Grand Southern Trunk Road. From Tindivanam, the town on NH 45 closest to us, you will have to take the NH 45A to get to Pondicherry. Alternatively we are on the East Coast Road, a beautiful scenic road along the coast but without a divider separating traffic in both directions.
